Logistics & Dates

WORKSHOP LOCATION: The sessions will be conducted at the NASA AERONET facility in Lajas, Puerto Rico.

DATES: All participants should arrange to arrive on Sunday June 20th. Classes will be conducted daily from June 21-25, 2010. Participants should arrange to depart on Saturday June 26th. You must stay for the entire workshop.

HOTEL: Villa Parguera in Lajas, Puerto Rico. It is walking distance from the AERONET site.

MEALS: The hotel provides a full buffet breakfast with your room, we will provide your lunch, but you are required to pay for your dinners.

DAILY TRANSPORTATION We will walk from the hotel to the AERONET site. Class starts Monday morning at 9AM and ends Friday at 5PM.

Packing for your trip

It’s very hot in Puerto Rico, so wear casual cool clothing, shorts are fine. You may also want to bring a very light jacket for evenings.

A lap top with a wireless connection.

Money for your dinners and anything else you may want to purchase.

Cosmetics and medications if you need them.

We will be going on a field trip, so you will need snorkel gear (mask, fins, snorkel if you have them) and a bathing suit, sun glasses, beach towel, hat etc.
