Sabrina Fitzgerald-Cooper was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She was educated in the public schools of Savannah. She received a B.S. degree in Biology form Savannah State College (now University), and returned to Savannah State and Armstrong Atlantic University to receive her teacher certification. She is a sixth grade science teacher at West Chatham Middle School.

She is the proud mother of 2 children, JaBria Alexis, age 11, and James Anthony,Jr. (“JJ”), age 8.

Horace Magwood, III received his Undergraduate degree in Biology from Savannah State University, Master’s Degree in Secondary Science Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, and Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University.  He has been an employee of the Savannah-Chatham Board of Public Education since 1994 when he was hired as a Science Teacher.  Mr. Magwood spent the first eight years of his career teaching various Science classes at Jenkins High School.  During that time, his awareness of various learning styles motivated him to learn new and different instructional methods to address them.  Upon doing so, his students benefited greatly and Mr. Magwood fulfilled his dream of giving back to the youth in his community.  He has successfully served as a department chair, mentor, Summer School Assistant Administrator, middle school Assistant Principal and high school Assistant Principal.  Mr. Magwood is presently serving his district as the Director of Science Instruction.  He is currently working on his terminal degree from Georgia Southern in Educational Leadership.
